Gina’s professional life has been involved in the catering industry, she trained as a chef, became a Lecturer and worked with the community, colleges and prison service. Gina had a restaurant for 10 years before going back into teaching and working with a group of adults with learning disabilities who were running a catering business. After 4 years Gina gained a Lottery Funded Grant to train and develop community cafes for the beneficiaries' to attend, enabling them to gain recognised qualifications and exploit their maximum potential, whilst being part of a main stream work force.  Gina took the project forward and set it up as a charity in 2000 and has since created 3 Community Interest Companies (CIC’s) that support the charity.
