What inspires a man to jump from an aeroplane at 3,000 feet, all in the name of charity?

Chris Clough from Nottingham will be doing just that in August, all to support Headway Nottingham in return for supporting his Mum through one of the toughest experiences of her life. Chris tells us his story...

"A few years ago my mum suffered a massive brain aneurysm which very nearly ended her life.  By some miracle she managed to pull through but the battle still wasn’t over.  She suffered with long term side affects where she struggled, and still does, with everyday tasks and memory loss. Just as we thought there was no help out there, she found out about Headway Nottingham. The support and help they gave her was absolutely amazing and they did so much for her. Chris Clough and Mum

"As a way of a thank you I'd like to give something back to this wonderful charity who helped my mum and help so many others by doing something which will be such a challenge for me - a static line sky dive - raising money for a worthwhile cause and something close to home.

"I will be doing a 1 day course on the 18th August followed by the actual jump which might be either scheduled for that day or a date after. Any amount of donation would be much appreciated."

All the team at Headway Nottingham think Chris is amazing, and we're so grateful for his support, in such a spectacular fashion!  You can support Chris' incredible efforts by sponsoring him on his JustGiving page.

Thank you so much, Chris! You're a star!
