Flame UK, the Colwick-based facilities management company has announced its decision to support Headway Nottingham as its Charity of the Year. 

The company has pledged fundraising and practical support throughout 2020 to bolster the charity's support of people with brain injuries throughout Nottingham.

Pam Knight, Flame UK's Managing Director explained the company's commitment to the cause: 

“We’re really excited to be working alongside Headway Nottingham throughout 2020!  Their work with people with disabilities after a brain injury is so important and it’s our pleasure to know that over the next twelve months we will be able to help spread the word about their services and raise vital funds to make sure their support remains available for people who urgently need them in our Nottingham community.

Flame UK's support is perfectly timed and comes as Headway Nottingham faces a serious funding challenge, leaving their rehabilitation centre at risk of closure. In response, the team have pledged to bolster their fundraising support by volunteering their practical business experience to boost the visibility of the charity's Headway Lifeline appeal.
