On Friday 21st September, a fearless team of five from Headway Nottingham's hero supporters, Scape Group, are joining forces with delivery partners at construction firm Willmott Dixon to add to their incredible fundraising coffers for 2018!

The formidable team are gearing up to tackle a gruelling 70 mile cycle challenge through the rolling hills and beautiful villages of Northampton, by completing the Willmott Dixon Classic - the firm's annual fundraising challenge - all to raise money for Team Scape's Charity of the Year, Headway Nottingham, and Action for Medical Research.  Although a picturesque journey, it's not an attempt for the faint of heart, thanks to some anticipated high winds and standing water courtesy of Storm Ali.

The fearless five; Paul Parker, David Brealey, Adrian Hill, Kevin Taylor and Chris Clarke are ready to meet the tough challenge.  Scape Group's Head of IT and Transformation said

We are delighted to be joining our Willmott Dixon colleagues to be raising money for these fantastic causes.  I'm sure it will be a challenging but fun day all round!

Rhiana Lakin, Fundraiser at Headway Nottingham added:

"Since the beginning of Team Scape's Headway Nottingham adoption in January, the Nottingham-based group have already raised a staggering £9,000 to support our life-changing brain injury rehabilitation, and they're nowhere near stopping!  Every penny will make a difference to local people finding their feet again after a brain injury.

"Team Scape's sponsorship funds will provide a catalyst for change throughout our wonderful Headway Nottingham community and it means the world to us to be benefitting from their tireless hard work this year.  We wish the teams at Scape and Willmott Dixon loads of luck and a steady back wind for their 70 mile cycle challenge!"
