Headway Nottingham and Scape Group are celebrating the local charity's biggest ever corporate adoption, and the timing couldn't be more perfect.

Over twelve months #TeamScape has taken on an Inflatable 10k obstacle course, organised a huge Golf Day, worn their Hats for Headway Nottingham, got quizzical at Alea Casino and supported colleagues taking on their own fundraising challenges including the Venice Marathon!

The results of their incredible efforts are in, and the team at Scape Group have raised an incredible £17,667!

Charlotte Leask and Rhiana Lakin from Headway Nottingham were overwhelmed on accepting the cheque from Scape Group's Board at their AGM, but welcomed the opportunity to share with them just how their generosity would make a difference for people affected by brain injury throughout Nottinghamshire.  The Board also heard words of thanks by video from some of the incredible people that Headway Nottingham exists to support.

Scape Group

Scape Group's support marks Headway Nottingham's biggest ever corporate Charity of the Year adoption, and at a time when the landscape of support for people with disabilities in our community becomes bleaker, the team's hard work and donation couldn't have come at a more vital time.

Charlotte Leask, Headway Nottingham's Services Manager explained:

Corporate adoptions of this magnitude don't come along very often and take an incredible amount of work to be a success. We are so very grateful to Scape Group and their delivery partners for their unwavering support and their determination to make life better for people with brain injuries.  Their dedication to the local community will give Headway Nottingham the opportunity to continue in our mission to provide advice, support and long-term rehabilitation services for people affected by brain injury in Nottinghamshire.

Despite an incredible fundraising total, #TeamScape's hard work for Headway Nottingham isn't over yet... The storms of September meant the rescheduling of their 70 mile cycling challenge, as part of the Willmott Dixon Classic, for safety reasons.  In May 2019 the fearless team will be ready to meet the tough challenge, with additional funds they raise also supporting Headway Nottingham's vital services!
