Alexandria joined the Headway Nottingham team as a Social Work student on placement in 2010. She enjoyed the atmosphere in the centre and had belief in the work Headway Nottingham do, so much so, that she chose to volunteer over subsequent summers until she completed her degree in 2013.
In August 2013 Headway Nottingham were looking for a Support Worker, so Alexandria jumped at the chance to apply and was successful. A month later in September 2013 an opening for an Outreach Worker became available and Alexandria couldn’t believe her luck when she was again successful, and assigned the role.
Alexandria continues to learn and grow in her post as Outreach Worker and enjoys the challenges it brings – particularly meeting some of the "most inspiring people in the world". She remains passionate about Headway Nottingham and championing our clients.

Outside of work Alexandria likes live music, has two ponies and enjoys horse-riding as well as walking in the Peak District with her partner and their springer spaniel.
