Charlotte joined Headway Nottingham as a volunteer in 2011 and six months later joined the staff team a a part-time administrator.  She gradually took on more responsibility and increased her hours taking on the role of Day Centre Manager in April 2016 before taking a step up, once again, to become Services Manager in April 2018.  She hopes to raise awareness about the long term effects of brain injury and encourage compassion towards those who are often misunderstood and marginalised.

Outside of work Charlotte is Mum to three children and spends her spare time (of which there is very little) enjoying trips to the theatre, art exhibitions and reading.
