Why you need to know more about brain injury

It's estimated that there are 3,500 head injuries sustained in Nottinghamshire alone each year.  As brain injury does not necessarily impact on life expectancy and each person's rehabilitative journey can take several years or even a lifetime, brain injury is a growing problem.

Thousands of people in our community are struggling with the daily effects of brain injury, many undiagnosed or unable to access the support they need to live their life to their potential.

Statistically, we are all likely to know someone who has been affected by brain injury.  By helping us spread the word about Headway Nottingham you really could make a difference.

To enquire about availability please call 0115 9679669 or use the Book a Speaker button below to get in touch.
