Referrals Due to the current corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic we are unable to process new referrals to our service as quickly as usual. Whist we will still accept new referrals you should be advised that we may not be able to process them as quickly as we usually would. We will make contact with all referrers to let them know their referral has been received and do what we can to offer advice in the mean time. We ask for your patience and understanding at this very difficult time. At Headway Nottingham we are happy to accept referrals from the individual themselves, a carer or family member or a professional working with the client. We will need some basic information which can be provided using our referral forms (available at the bottom of this page). Once we have received the referral we will contact the individual or their carer to arrange a home visit so that we can find out a little more about them, and their support requirements, before we work together to formulate a plan to start moving forward.
