All very enjoyable to do, but will any of those positively impact your local community and simultaneously enhance your sense of self-worth? Volunteering with Headway Nottingham will, and three hours a week is all we need from you.

    Referrals

    At Headway Nottingham we accept referrals from all sources, be that a self referral to a referral from a professional health or social care worker. Once the referral is made we will make contact with the individual or their carer and work with them to formulate a suitable plan of progression.

    Brain injury doesn't just affect the person living with the condition, it also affects those around them. Family, friends and loved ones also have to adjust to life after brain injury and it can be very difficult.

    We run an extensive and innovative timetable of activities and workshops all aimed towards the longer term rehabilitation after brain injury. We hope to help you with the educational, physical, social, cognitive, emotional and social aspects of your recovery.
