We are delighted to announce that Greg Almond, Head of Personal Injury at Rotheras, has been appointed a Trustee of Headway Nottingham.

As a Trustee of Headway Nottingham, Greg will work alongside other Trustees who volunteer their time and offer a wealth of skills and experience to make a difference our local brain injury community.

Greg said: “I am very honoured to become a Trustee of Headway Nottingham which is an amazing local charity. I act for several brain injury survivors and know first-hand how difficult it can be for them and their family. I hope that I can share my experiences and knowledge to help others and encourage greater financial support for the charity, despite the difficult current economic climate, to ensure their wonderful work continues.”

Greg, who has over 16 years’ experience acting for clients on serious injury cases, recently acted in a case in which he managed to secure over £1 million in compensation for a client who worked in construction and suffered a brain injury after falling from a joist.

Charlotte Leask, Headway Nottingham’s Services Manager said: “We’re very excited that Greg has chosen to make a difference to local lives affected by brain injury by joining our Board of Trustees.  The support needs of people with profound disabilities after brain injury grow evermore complex, as does the environment our local charity operates within.

“Our Trustees work exceptionally hard to shape and guide Headway Nottingham’s relevant and vital support.  Greg shares our vision of ensuring that rehabilitation is available for local people precisely when, and for as long as they need it and we’re thrilled that our clients and team will benefit from his knowledge and skills.”
