Make your mark on ABI Week

16 - 22 May, people throughout the UK will be supporting Action on Brain Injury (ABI) Week and raising awareness of the often life-changing effects of brain injury.

This year's campaign 'See the Hidden Me' will amplify the voices of people with brain injuries and focus on what, for many, are 'hidden' disabilities, challenges and misunderstandings experienced in their daily lives. The aim of the awareness week is to empower individuals to talk about when these hidden disabilities has made life more challenging, whilst also asking the general public for more understanding and respect through better insight into the invisible challenges individuals experience everyday.

To help shape the campaign and better understand your experiences, national charity, Headway - the brain injury association has launched the ABI Week 2022 survey for 'See the hidden Me'.

The survey is designed to be completed by people with brain injuries and their carers, and will help raise awareness and understanding of the issues that matter the most.

Take the survey

The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete. Paper copies are available by contacting [email protected], although we would encourage completion of the digital survey if possible.

The survey will close on 3rd April 2022 and results will be published in May.

More details about 2022's ABI Week campaign will be coming soon, so keep an eye on our website and social media.
