Headway Nottingham is proud and excited to have been selected as Nottingham-based, Scape Group's chosen Charity of the Year in 2018!

Building on previous amazing fundraising successes, including an incredible £18,000 raised in 2017 for national charity Rethink Mental Illness, the Scape Group team will use their hard work and kindness throughout 2018 to benefit local people whose lives have been turned upside down by brain injury.  Read more about their charitable work on the Scape Group website

Mark Robinson, Chief Executive of Scape Group said

We are proud to support Headway Nottingham as our charity of the year. The passion and dedication of their team to supporting their service users throughout recovery is second to none, and we are delighted to play our part in helping them to achieve this.

A busy year ahead, kicked-off in style

Scape Group's impressive Hats for Headway Day effort kicked-off this year's annual fundraising events, including the Scape Group Golf Day in June, Inflatable 5k Run in July and their Charity Quiz in October, as well as a host of other events, all to raise funds with a life-changing impact for people with brain injuries in Nottingham!

Charlotte Leask, Headway Nottingham's Services Manager explained

"An adoption of this magnitude for a small, local charity like Headway Nottingham is momentous. The support of the Scape Group means that, like our members, we too can raise our aspirations.  It means that we can innovate, grow and strive to achieve more for all those in Nottinghamshire effected by brain injury."

"The team at Scape Group demonstrate year on year that they care deeply about supporting vital charities, so we're so grateful to have been chosen for 2018!  We're incredibly grateful to every person who'll take on a challenge, be inspired to dig deep and help spread awareness of brain injury and how we can help over the coming year.  Their hard work really will make a tangible difference to the lives of local people and it means the world to us.  We're so excited to get started!"
